Currently I play in group thats focus is fast and lite game play, but I want more detailed combat. In the past, I have played quite a bit of
GURPS but now I am wanting to try even more detailed combat. I build my adventures using a
GM emulator currently and have been tossing the idea around of running the Mythic
GM book along side something even more crunchy than
GURPS when I have a down weekend and need something to work on rpg wise.
Not sure if any of you are familiar with Mythic but basically you can ask its built in “Oracl“e questions and get answers based on percentages of success. It can also generate “key words” to establish elements within the world such as encounters and
NPC traits etc.
I have used it to build adventures for my last
4 groups using Barbarians of Lemuria (which is rules lite and very fast play) but having a hard time determining if Blade is a group dependent system or if a solo character that might be slightly overpowered could work within the rule set in a campaign setting, not just a one shot with combat.
I have read the few reviews and opinions of the game across the web (rpg and reddit mostly) and it seems like it could do solo
PC with help from Mythic to guide the adventures, but I am looking for advice from people who have actually played the game before I commit to buying and studying the rulesystem.
The combat looks great and I think an oracle could easily compensate for a human opponent with some tweaking, its the rest of the system including the passions and whatnot that I cannot get my head around, with respect to a solo player character.

Blade looks pretty awesome but I have nobody around to even try to get into a session with, curious to hear anyones thoughts on the matter and even more interested if someone has run a solo
PC campaign (either solitaire or with a friend).
Thanks
